Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and singer. Also, she was co-starring in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. The most famous of her works is her role in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as having the role of lead singer in Apollonia 6, a girl group. In the 1980s, the singer-actress Prince has christened Apollonia became just one of numerous female performers to benefit through their relationship with Prince. Over the next few years she was in a number of tiny films. (She has been reported to not take part in an upcoming Purple Rain film Under the Cherry Moon.) She later landed a role in the evening show Falcon Crest between 1985-1986. Apollonia finally released her debut in 1988 but the rather tame set of songs that incorporated dance/R&B did not impress consumers of music and her album quickly vanished off the shelves. She continued to be active as an actor (even if it was a somewhat under-the-radar) in the years following and also appeared in a few television shows as well as films. Even an exercise video came out. In 1997 Apollonia made a record in English and Spanish called Stay With me. In the following year, she went to university and obtained a filmmaking degree. In addition, she founded her own production company. Apollonia is a multi-talented woman. Formerly, she was a model, actress, also a talent director.
